This is a great way for them to learn how to communicate effectively with the other people they come in contact with.It would be difficult for any foreigner to take on the role of a Chinese language tutor as they would want to stick to the confines of their own country of residence. A Chinese language tutor is usually someone who is willing to live a lifestyle that is similar to that of a Chinese person in terms of lifestyle, age, education and other related factors.Some have even decided to tutor for a living and travel to China to teach the locals to speak better Chinese. There are also those who just want to make a career out of it as they can earn a decent amount of money from their Chinese language tutoring sessions. All these are completely legitimate ways to make money from teaching.However, it must be emphasized that while not every Chinese person can tutor Chinese, this does not mean that it is impossible. Not every English speaker can tutor English or Japanese as they too have a culture that differs a lot from that of Chinese people.There are also some who are fluent in Mandarin and others who speak Mandarin, Cantonese and Taiwanese. These are not areas where you can expect to find good Chinese language learning teachers. In fact, it is impossible to teach all of them.For one thing, some schools may not have teaching staff fluent in Mandarin and these areas are only accessible by speaking the Chinese language, which is another factor. Other areas of study such as math, science and engineering are done entirely in Chinese and it would be difficult for Chinese people to teach these subjects in their own language.Therefore, there is no reason why the Chinese language tutors should not be able to teach their own language. With the proper practice, the student should be able to pick up the basics of their native language and make it easier for them to learn other languages.
